Family and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults. My specialties include the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), bipolar disorder, PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder), trauma-related conditions, insomnia, and mood disorders.

I believe effective mental health treatment begins with a trusting, supportive relationship, one where you feel heard, respected, and empowered. Every person's experiences, challenges, and goals are different, which is why my approach is patient-centered and collaborative. Through psychiatric evaluations, medication management, psychoeducation, and supportive therapy, I work closely with each patient to create an individualized plan focused on emotional wellness and long-term stability.
Before becoming a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I spent valuable years in the emergency department, where I came to deeply understand the emotional and psychological needs patients carry alongside their physical ones. That experience continues to shape the compassionate, whole-person approach I bring to every encounter.
I earned my Family Nurse Practitioner certification in 2014, my Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification in 2017, and my Doctorate of Nursing Practice in 2021.
Outside of clinical practice, I love reading, traveling, spending time with family and friends, gardening, and hiking. I am committed to lifelong learning and staying current with advances in psychiatric care.
