Dr. Noah Kaufman

MD

Dr. Noah Kaufman is a board-certified emergency medicine specialist who loves rock climbing and travel almost as much as he loves his patients. He does work as a medical legal expert, and has worked for the UC Health system in Northern Colorado before opting to change his practice to Cheyenne Wells.

In 1996, Noah earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. From there, he went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana while studying on the Provost’s academic scholarship. Dr. Kaufman did not hesitate to step into his working career. 2002 led to a Flight Physician position with Cleveland Metro Life Flight.

2003 was the beginning of Noah’s Emergency Medicine Residency program at Akron General Medical Center in Akron, Ohio which he completed in the summer of 2006. Becoming a Partner at Tahoe Emergency Physicians in the fall of 2006 would set the tone for Dr. Kaufman’s practice for the next several years. In 2019, he became an ER attending physician in Wheatland, Wyoming for two years.

Dr. Kaufman has served on peer review committees for multi-specialty case review, prospective standard of care expert and an on-air medical expert for Channel 9 KUSA. With his vast amount of knowledge, Keefe Memorial Hospital is proud to have him as part of our care team.
