Open Positions

Work Schedule: Full Time Nights

Responsibilities: Assistant to the emergency room R.N. and physician in the care of emergency department patients. Must have a current EMT (emergency medical technician) certification. Will also assist the R.N. with the care of all other hospital patients as a CNA.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • EMT
  • Will acquire a CNA license within 90 days of hire, if not already completed.

Pay Range: $15.65 – $21.33 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule:  Full Time Nights with Rotating Call

Responsibilities: Responsible for, and participates in, nursing care of assigned patients. Assesses patient’s needs, develops individual nursing care plans, performs patient education, and communicates with charge nurse or nurse manager regarding status of assigned patients. Performs nursing function in all aspects of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required.
  • Current CO RN license required.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.

Pay Range:  $28.30 – $38.59 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days with Rotating Call

Responsibilities:  Performs skilled, specialized work in the conduct of all phases of clinical laboratory technology, including hematology, chemistry, bacteriology, and blood banking. Makes analytical diagnoses and prepares reports to aid in the treatment of disease. Requires technologist designation by ASCP, AMT, HHS or ISCLT.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science or allied health technologies
  • Valid state licensing and certification
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and irregular hours.

Pay Range:  $27.61 – $37.65 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule:  Full Time Days with Alternating Call Responsibilities:  Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Operates laboratory equipment and prepares specimens for examination. Analyzes, reviews, and reports test results and quality control result and takes remedial action when indicated. Ensures specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing. Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree or higher preferred 
  • Medical laboratory experience preferred.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days (Mon. – Fri.) or 3 days (32 hours Mon. – Wed.)

Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant (Non-Certified) position is responsible for providing general clinical care to patients at Keefe Memorial Hospital’s Prairie View Clinic and/or Kit Carson Clinic in accordance with established practice standards. This position utilizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in providing comprehensive and competent patient care. Provides effective interaction with patients, family members and staff, and coordinates interdepartmental patient care activities while maintaining nursing standards within the scope of the Medical Assistant.

Requirements:

Pay Range: $14.53 – $19.81 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days Responsibilities: Maintains hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors; gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture; and performing similar tasks. Helps in the hospital as needed. Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days with Rotating Call

Responsibilities:  Performs non-technical and semi-technical duties in support of technical or professional laboratory staff. Duties may include staining slides, data entry, providing telephone results to physicians and nursing staff; receiving, sorting, and distributing specimens; media quality control, inventory and ordering, cover slipping, centrifuging, preparing reagents. 

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Three years of experience preferred
  • Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and irregular hours.

Pay Range:  $16.44-$22.41 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days (Internal Posting Only)

Responsibilities:  Responsible for being the direct contact for specified patients, patient’s caregivers, medical care team and referring physicians. Understands skills and comprehensive knowledge regarding cancer pathophysiology, treatment options and symptom management.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from accredited nursing program
  • Experience in rural hospital nursing is beneficial but not required
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Colorado or approved compact state of residence as defined by the Colorado Nurse Practice Act
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Current Oncology Nurse Certification (ONC) preferred
  • Experience in breast cancer/woman’s health preferred, but not required

Pay Range: $29.74 – $40.54 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:  The Supply Chain Technician is responsible for supporting the Supply Chain Coordinator as delegated. Duties may include, but are not limited to, receiving, labeling, assembling, storing, replenishing, restocking, distributing, sterilizing, shipping, and inventorying supplies/equipment as it relates to the Supply Chain Department scope.

Requirements:

  • Basic computer skillset required, including email and spreadsheets
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Organized, detail-oriented skills required
  • Experience in supply chain, distribution, manufacturing or healthcare preferred
  • Sterile processing experience preferred
  • Valid state driver’s license and updated vehicle insurance

Pay Range: $16.04-21.87 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Part time days, 24 hours per week (Remote, with occasional on-site; ability to increase hours)

Responsibilities:  Responsible for completing coding for outpatient services. Assigns codes to diagnosis (es) & operative procedures, data retrieval, abstracts medical records, provides codes and/or assists patient accounting personnel, assists with pre-authorizations, codes Emergency Room professional fees & facility charges, processes dictation & diagnostic tests results, assists with release of information, and monitors incomplete/delinquent accounts and outpatient accounts to ensure services are provided according to billed services.

Requirements:

  • High School graduate (or equivalent)
  • College graduate
  • Certification as Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
  • Or Credentials as Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)

Pay Range: $21.05-28.69 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)
