Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: The Executive Assistant supports the CEO, CFO, and other members of the Senior Team at Keefe Memorial Hospital (KMH) and Clinics. They are responsible for the efficiency of day-to-day office operations. The ability to stay focused and multitask are characteristics that must be demonstrated in this position. It is essential that the Executive Assistant keeps a positive, respectful, and professional atmosphere, as they provide the coordination for public relations. This position supports a range of tasks related to the organization, including grant writing.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range: $23.23 – $31.67 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: Responsible for completing and processing insurance claim forms for all government and commercial insurance patients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Hospital billing experience preferred.

Work Schedule: Full Time Days (Mon. – Fri.) or 3 days (32 hours Mon. – Wed.)

Responsibilities: Assists physicians with direct patient care. Prepares patients and assists physician with minor surgical procedures. Takes vitals, blood pressure, pulse, and temperature. Maintains inventory of supplies, sterilizes instruments and equipment. May complete lab tests and/or x-rays with the scope of CMA credentials.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant required.

Pay Range: $15.27 – $20.81 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for monitoring the health of their patients and to facilitate quality patient care. They provide assistance in answering patient phone calls, checking vital signs, and lab work. Other responsibilities include coordinating patient flow, dressing and bandaging wounds and watching changes that may occur on monitor readings. LPN’s will also assist Registered Nurses in tasks that can be completed with their level of education.

Requirements: Current CO LPN license required.
Current Basic Life support (BLS) certification required.

Pay Range: $21.05 – $28.69 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Responsibilities: The Medical Assistant (Non-Certified) position is responsible for providing general clinical care to patients at Keefe Memorial Hospital’s Prairie View Clinic and/or Kit Carson Clinic in accordance with established practice standards. This position utilizes assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation in providing comprehensive and competent patient care. Provides effective interaction with patients, family members and staff, and coordinates interdepartmental patient care activities while maintaining nursing standards within the scope of the Medical Assistant.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range: $14.53 – $19.81 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities:

The Prairie View Clinic (PVC) and Kit Carson (K) clinic nurse manager renders nursing care to patients in terms of individual needs, under guidance of healthcare protocols, and in accordance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards and administrative policy.  Evaluates plans and organizes the delivery of care to meet the needs and nursing requirements of each patient within the clinics.

Requirements:

  • Current CO RN license required.
  • Current Basic Life support (BLS) certification required.

Pay Range: $33.64 – $45.87 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days and PRN Days available

Responsibilities: Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees, and visitors working from established recipes,
formulas and menu cycles. May have an assistant or helper. Confers with Food Production Supervisor or
Dietician regarding food needs, modified diets, menu changes, etc. Operates commercial and large
scale cooking equipment and appliances. Designation may be according to food items cooked or
methods of cooking such as: Meat Cook, Vegetable Cook, Pastry Cook, or Modified Diet Cook.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of experience in food service preferred.

Pay Range: $13.49 – 18.40 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Paid Time Off (PTO): You will accrue PTO to be used for holidays, sick days, and vacation days.

Work Schedule: Full Time Nights

Responsibilities: Assistant to the emergency room R.N. and physician in the care of emergency department patients. Must have a current EMT (emergency medical technician) certification. Will also assist the R.N. with the care of all other hospital patients as a CNA.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • EMT
  • Will acquire a CNA license within 90 days of hire, if not already completed.

Pay Range: $15.65 – $21.33 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: Maintains hospital facilities in a clean, sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition to provide a suitable
environment for patient care and staff work. Performs a variety of housekeeping duties that may include dusting, washing, and disinfecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment; sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing floors; gathering and disposing of refuse; arranging furniture; and performing similar tasks. Helps in the hospital as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range: $12.84 – 17.51 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days with Rotating Call

Responsibilities: Performs journeyman level work in the maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems in the facility. Works according to diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, and manufacturers specifications. Uses hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. May have minor responsibility for electrical equipment. May set up and operate metal working tools to make new parts. May supervise one or two lesser skilled mechanics or helpers.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Pay Range: $17.27 – $23.55 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days with Alternating Call

Responsibilities: Performs manual and automated routine blood tests. Operates laboratory equipment and prepares specimens for examination. Analyzes, reviews, and reports test results and quality control results and takes remedial action when indicated. Ensures specimen integrity by adhering to the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Associate degree or higher preferred
Medical laboratory experience preferred.

Pay Range: $23.81 – $32.46 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days with Rotating Call

Responsibilities: Performs skilled, specialized work in the conduct of all phases of clinical laboratory technology, including hematology, chemistry, bacteriology, and blood banking. Makes analytical diagnoses and prepares reports to aid in the treatment of disease. Requires technologist designation by ASCP, AMT, HHS or ISCLT.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science or allied health technologies
Valid state licensing and certification
Willingness to work weekends, evenings, and irregular hours.

Pay Range: $27.61 – $37.65 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: Performs physical examinations, orders lab work and x-ray examinations according to physician guidelines. Performs other diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as determined by protocol. May prescribe medications. Maintains appropriate records. Makes referrals as appropriate. Must be licensed/certified.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program
  • Current Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure

Pay Range: $51.19– $69.67 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Responsibilities: Responsible for, and participates in, nursing care of assigned patients. Assesses patient’s needs, develops individual nursing care plans, performs patient education, and communicates with charge nurse or nurse manager regarding status of assigned patients. Performs nursing function in all aspects of patient care.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree required.
  • Current CO RN license required.
  • Current BLS, ACS, PALS, TNCC certification required.

Pay Range: $28.30 – $38.59 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)

Work Schedule: Full Time Days

Responsibilities: Schedule’s patients in the hospital and clinic settings. Enters pertinent patient data and specific physician requests. Provides patients with basic information regarding location, appointment information, physician referral/authorization and answers any questions. Tracks and updates all open cancelled appointments and notifies all appropriate staff of any additions and cancellations. Receives all inbound calls for department regarding scheduling and conducting basic assessment of caller to ensure they have the correct departments. Conducts outbound calls to patients regarding any changes in appt and to remind them of their upcoming appt.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Pay Range: $14.89 – $20.31 (Placement into the range is dependent upon experience)
